Need to learn to balance to ride a 2 wheeled bikeBrought this a month ago. Easy to install. I have a small 5 yrs old daughter. 3 ft 30lbs. she knows how to ride 2 wheel bike with training wheels and now I wanted to give the balance bike a try to transition her to be able to ride the 2 wheeled bike. This balance bike to me looks too small for her. The handle bar does not stay in place. I did tighten it as much as it let me. And Almost everytime she turns it, I have to re aligned the steering so it can be straight for her to continue using. It’s been 3 wks and she uses it for 15 mins 3 times a week and she still complains that seat cushion hurts her.

Glide and Go Balance Bike recommended by GrandpoppaAll Radio Flyer products are the very best in their categories. We have several wagons, trikes, and scooters that have been through several generations of grandchildren and even though they have been abused at tomes they still look good and function well. This Balance Bike is for a granddaughter that is too big for her tricycle but is not quite big and old enough for a 12inch bike with training wheels. My grandson has one like this and loves it. My older granddaughter has a 12" with training wheels that is a 2005 hand-me-down that I spruced up with a new seat from RadioFlyer website. These are durable products and I would recommend them to anyone. They have been in business for almost 100 years and their products are American made.

Poor DesignI bought this for my 3 year old grandson. It seemed like a good idea to get him started on a bicycle. However, the assembly method left a lot to be desired. There was no way to tighten the bolt on the collar to secure the handlebars from rotating. I tried a wrench at first but there is insufficient room to get a snug grip on the nut. Next was a socket - this was bette but I was afraid of over tightening and stripping the threads. I wrapped some duct tape around the sleeve and was able to keep it relatively in place. Very poor design.

Super value, great customer service.Found a super deal for the grandkids bikes! Accidentally ordered 2 bikes but they were able to cancel for me and even though the bike was no longer on sale she gave me a discount coat so I could still get it. Spend your money elsewhereLight weight which is good, but came with thin plastic wheels. Not what I expected from a balance bike. Many more much better made options out there. Disappointing for radio flyer to be honest and wish I would’ve went with one of the other bikes I was looking at. When I tried to return it based of its poor quality, I was told I’d have to pay for the shipping. No thanks. Overall disappointed.

Too smallI found the quality to be acceptable for the price, but it is far too small, even with seat as high as it goes, for my 4-year-old grandson. I know he is big for his age, but it said ages 2.5-5. Maybe include some measurements with highest seat height would help the buyer. He still has fun with it in my basement but it is uncomfortable leaning so far down to the handlebars.

Nice Bike but to tall for younger kidsI bought one for my 18 month old grand daughter and 21 month old grand son, neither could touch the ground from the seat and had difficulty touching from the frame in front of the seat, Radio Flyer has a different bike with a low slung frame that would be better for younger kids.

Easy AssemblyWe received this bike and my 22 month old daughter was excited to get on it as soon as we got it out of the box! It was super easy to assemble with only needing a wrench for one part!
It’s taking her some time to learn how to hold herself up, but she’s enjoying trying!
