Great little bike!
I bought this for my 19 month old son who is tall and thin. The bike fits him perfectly! My friend's 4 year even rode it around with ease so I can see this lasting him a long time. He figured out the bell immediately and is learning to cruise around the house. I love how sturdy this bike is and that I don't need to worry about him tipping it over. All the pieces fit together exactly like they should and the instructions were easy to figure out. All in all, a great first bike! Perfect for our 1-2 year old
I can't say enough positive things about how good this toy was for our boy when he was between the ages of one and two. He learned how to coast and steer. It glides smoothly with little effort. The tires left no marks on our floors. It was durable with frequent use both indoors and out. The bumper area on the front saved our furniture and walls. Wonderful.We liked it so much that I came back to this website to order a trike for him being two-and-a-half this summer. Thought I should leave a positive review while I was here.We can't wait to use the Scoot-About with our next child. Thank you so much!

Great First Ride On !!
We purchased the Scoot-About for our grandson's 1st birthday. As he was not walking yet, we were not anticipating he would be able to use it for a while. To our surprise, he was so excited and curious, he hopped up on it and used it as his "walker". Within a few days, he learned how to steer it, use the bell and back it up !!! He is on the Scoot About all the time. Love this scooter and highly recommend this as a first riding toy for any little one.Please note this reviewer received points for writing this review through Little Red Club.

Best Riding Toy for a One-Year-Old
After reading scads of online reviews for lots of riding toys, we bought this for our granddaughter for her first birthday. It was a big hit at the party! Some older kids even adjusted the seat height so they could ride it. Granddaughter can't ride it properly just yet but we expect she will soon. Till then, she's happy to hold onto the handlebars and push it backwards around the house. I think this will be our go-to baby gift from now on. It's well-designed and sturdy, a real classic.

Perfect First Birthday Gift!
This was purchased for our grandson’s first birthday. He loves it! It’s the perfect size and with the adjustable seat it will grow with him for years to come. His other grandparents brought him the Radio Flyer wagon his dad had as a boy which speaks to the quality of Radio Flyer products.
We did have a small issue with missing hardware but Jessica in Customer Service was fantastic as had the shipping expedited so that the Scoot-About was ready in time for the party.

Disappointed
This metal and plastic version is nowhere The smScoot-About wasn’t near as nice as the wood version we bought for another granddaughter 10 years ago, It was difficult to attach the wheel bolt caps, we had to purchase a new nut for the steering wheel screw as it was defective, and there are no caps to cover the bolts in the plastic seat. This Scoot About was made as cheaply as possible and is not up to the Radio Flyer standards we expected—we would not recommend it.

Great look
I bought it few days ago and my 18 months old son likes to get on it and scoot around. He really likes the bell, which is great wee detail!
I'm not sure if he's still trying to get used to it but he gets on and off it quite often. From my point of view the seat is quite slippy.
Another thing is the steering wheel turns more to the right than to the left.
Overall the trike has super look, decent metal frame and is fun a child.

Great for just-turned-1-year-old
This arrived two days ago, and my son has already been on it several times. I am very happy with its ease of use so far. My only criticism is that once assembled the rear wheels are incredibly stiff and don't turn freely. This impedes the movement a fair bit as my son is just old enough to fit into the recommended age to use this and not strong enough to really get going. I assume (or hope) with use they will loosen up.
